Overnight Dispatch (Abbotsford)

We provide Full Truck Load Transportation Services to and from major cities in Western Canada and Western US with our own fleet of Reefers, and Dry Vans. The Overnight Dispatch is responsible for building and maintaining strong business relationships with multiple drivers to seamlessly coordinate them to successfully service customer loads. Monitor logistic transactions in the evening while communicating effectively and efficiently both internally and externally to achieve high levels of service. Responsibilities will include: - Communicating with drivers regularly to ensure on time delivery, sending and receiving all information relevant to the driver performing his/her duties within the Company and customer requirements - Handling all driver related satellite messages or calls within assigned and overflow queues - Reporting and documenting of all customer service, planning and driver related issues to the appropriate personnel - Preparing customs clearance paperwork and ensuring it has been submitted the customs broker - Following up with customs brokers to ensure clearances are completed in a timely manner - Arranging and booking in repairs for in transit truck breakdowns Qualifications - Analytical and critical thinking skills - Must have reliable transportation - Strong communication and problem-solving skills - Proven team player with ability to align position goals with corporate strategic goals - Ability to multitask - Minimum of 1 year of customer service experience would be an asset - Must be legally allowed to work full time in Canada Why choose Triple Eight Transport Inc.? - State of the art facility - Regular company lunches for special events - Annual Summer Corporate team building event - Annual Winter Holiday party with amazing prize draws rewarding our valuable team because our people are important to us! - Opportunities for growth within the company as we continue growing - Our open door policy shows we value communication and building robust, meaningful relationships across our workplace - Competitive wage and vacation packages Shift: - Must be able to work on weekends. - Must be able to work 11:00PM - 7:00 AM Our commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion Triple Eight Transport Inc is an equal opportunity employer.
