Role Overview We are looking for a Power System Engineer – Canada to support SolutionMall’s power system product selection, technical communication, project requirement clarification, and engineering-related project follow-up across the Canadian market. This role mainly covers power system, electrical engineering, infrastructure, industrial facility, utility, contractor, and project-based opportunities in Canada. This is a versatile cooperation-based role suitable for professionals with experience in power systems, electrical engineering, distribution networks, power cables, transformers, switchgear, electrical panels, voltage stabilizers, utility projects, infrastructure projects, or industrial electrical systems. The role focuses on supporting early-stage technical communication, identifying real project requirements, assisting RFQ development, matching suitable products and solutions, and helping SolutionMall promote power system products and solution packages in Canada. This is not a pure design-office engineering role. It is a technical and project-support role that combines power system understanding, customer communication, requirement clarification, product selection, RFQ support, and project advancement. The ideal candidate should be able to support: - Technical requirement clarification - Power system product selection - RFQ and quotation coordination - Project opportunity follow-up - Customer and contractor communication - Technical and commercial coordination - Local market feedback - Project advancement support 3. Key Responsibilities Technical Requirement and Project Support Support project communication across Canada, including projects related to: - Power utilities - Electrical contractors - Infrastructure projects - Industrial facilities - Commercial buildings - Energy projects - Construction companies - Engineering companies - Government and institutional procurement contacts - Electrical distributors and dealers Communicate with customers, contractors, consultants, procurement teams, and project stakeholders to understand project background, technical needs, site conditions, voltage level, load requirements, installation environment, applicable standards, and procurement direction. Support SolutionMall in identifying qualified power system opportunities and moving them from early communication to practical RFQ and quotation discussion. Power System Product and Solution Matching Support technical selection and solution matching for power system categories, including: - Power cables and control cables - Medium-voltage and low-voltage cables - Cable accessories and termination materials - Medium and low-voltage distribution networks - Distribution cabinets and electrical panels - Switchgear and control cabinets - Transformers - Voltage stabilizers - Power regulation and protection equipment - Grounding and lightning protection products - Power connectors and auxiliary electrical materials - Electrical tools and testing instruments Help customers and project stakeholders select suitable products based on voltage level, load capacity, usage scenario, site environment, safety requirements, Canadian electrical standards, installation conditions, and long-term maintenance needs. RFQ and Quotation Coordination Follow up on project background, technical specifications, procurement lists, drawings, budget expectations, delivery timeline, and approval process. Help convert early project interest into active RFQs and practical quotation discussions. Coordinate with SolutionMall teams, suppliers, and customers to keep qualified power system opportunities moving forward. Assist in product comparison, technical confirmation, quotation communication, commercial negotiation support, and order-related follow-up where needed. Technical and Market Feedback Collect and share local market feedback, including: - Common power system project requirements in Canada - Preferred product specifications - Local standards and project approval habits - Pricing sensitivity - Competitor activity - Channel conditions - Customer purchasing habits - Installation and maintenance expectations Help SolutionMall improve its Canadian product selection, project communication, and cooperation strategy in the power system sector. 4. Qualifications Required 2+ years of experience in one or more of the following areas: - Power system engineering - Electrical engineering - Power cables and cable accessories - Medium and low-voltage distribution systems - Distribution cabinets or switchgear - Transformers or voltage stabilizers - Utility or infrastructure electrical projects - Industrial electrical systems - Electrical contractor technical support - Technical sales or solution support for electrical products Familiar with power system products and able to understand technical requirements, product selection, RFQ follow-up, quotation coordination, and customer communication. Basic ability to read or understand technical specifications, procurement lists, project requirements, drawings, or electrical system application scenarios. Good communication skills and ability to work with customers, contractors, procurement teams, suppliers, distributors, and project stakeholders. Working proficiency in English. Preferred Existing customer, contractor, utility, engineering, or project resources in Canada. Experience with power utilities, electrical contractors, infrastructure projects, industrial facilities, construction companies, engineering companies, or electrical distributors in Canada. Experience in RFQ follow-up, tender support, quotation coordination, technical-commercial communication, or project opportunity development. Familiarity with Canadian electrical procurement ecosystems, project approval workflows, local codes, and power infrastructure market conditions is preferred. Experience with cables, transformers, switchgear, distribution panels, voltage stabilizers, grounding, lightning protection, or electrical testing instruments is a strong advantage. 5.
