Job Overview: Direct-Way is seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Flatbed Dispatcher / Planner (US-CAN) to join our team. The ideal candidate must have strong knowledge of flatbed operations, excellent communication skills, and the ability to manage multiple loads and drivers efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Key Responsibilities: Plan, assign, and dispatch flatbed loads to drivers efficiently Coordinate pickups and deliveries to ensure on-time performance Communicate with drivers, brokers, and customers throughout the load lifecycle Monitor driver compliance with Hours of Service (HOS) regulations Optimize routes and maximize equipment utilization Book loads and negotiate rates with brokers and customers Track shipments and proactively resolve any delays or issues Ensure proper load details, permits, and securement requirements are communicated Maintain accurate records and update dispatch systems regularly Handle cross-border shipments (Canada & USA) when required Requirements: Minimum 3+ years of verifiable experience in flatbed dispatching/planning.
