We are looking for a BC Certified Teacher to teach in-person at our Sumas Community Connections+ program location. Community Connections Plus (CC+) are in-person learning opportunities that are one full day per week for 30 weeks where students collaborate in a class setting with a home-education flavour with a focus on meaningful and hands-on learning activities. CC+ classes are led by BC certified teachers fully responsible for covering all CC+ course outcomes.

Job Requirements Qualifications: BC Teacher Certification

Previous experience teaching relevant subjects

Previous experience teaching CC/CC+ is preferred

Ability to build relationships and work relationally with students, parents, coordinator and other team members

Flexible attitude towards adapting to students and situation
