General Labourer, Abbotsford British Columbia

We are looking for an enthusiastic and safety‑conscious individual to join the team of General Labourers for a reputable rebar fabricator/distributor.

What you need to know

Schedule: 4 x 10‑hour shifts, Monday – Thursday

Shift Time: Afternoon Shift; 1:45 PM– 11:45 PM

2 days training on day shift to start (6:00 AM– 2:15 PM)

Wage: $26/hour ($24 + $2 shift premium)

Location: Abbotsford, BC

Temporary 1–2 months

Will be working outdoors 100% of the time in all weather

Responsibilities

Perform general shop labour, including moving material, organizing steel stock, and keeping the workstation safe and clear

Feed rebar into a machine to be forged (will be trained)

Assist with warehouse duties such as picking and pallet packing when needed

Work closely with a team to ensure are ready or transport by deadline given

Qualifications

Must have basic math skills to be able to calculate bar measurements

Must be able to read a measuring tape

Ability to lift up to 40 lbs unassisted

Comfortable working outdoors 100% of the time

Strong communication skills + a collaborative mindset

Safety‑conscious mindset

Steel‑toed ankle high boots required + safety vest (if you have)

Not short‑sleeved shirts, no shorts
