Western Gasco Cylinders Ltd is the largest locally owned and operated welding and compressed gas supplier in BC. We are seeking a self-motivated person to work as a Cylinder Filler and Loader. You will be working in a brand new facility using new and modern equipment. You must be fluent in English (written & spoken), qualified and personable, with good communication and written skills, and able to work independently. The position is full time, Monday to Friday, with a market-competitive salary and benefits package. JOB DESCRIPTION: Responsible for filling compressed gas cylinders in a safe and qualified manner. Load and unload compressed gas cylinders from trucks using a forklift. Preparing cylinder shipments for scheduled deliveries. ESSENTIAL DUTIES: Filling compressed gas in a safe and professional manner Loading and unloading trucks Move assets/stock using a Forklift Stocking and organizing cylinders Preparing cylinder pallets for delivery trucks Placing gas orders with supplier Shipping and receiving as required Promote safety and all other company policies at all times MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE: High school graduate or equivalent. Ability to routinely lift/move 25 to 75 lbs. Must be able to operate forklift. Ability to work independently and under pressure to meet deadlines. Must be able to operate in a drug and alcohol free workplace. Must be able to wear required personal protective equipment. Forklift, WHMIS, and TDG certification required.
