Pay: CA$24.00-CA$35.00 per hour Agricultural Service Technician Newleaf Equipment Solutions – Abbotsford, BC $24–$35 per hour Full time, Permanent About Us Newleaf Equipment Solutions, established in 2020 in Abbotsford, BC, specializes in the design, supply, and installation of equipment for the agricultural (poultry) and industrial (brewery & distillery) sectors. We are a fast-growing company built on teamwork, integrity, and a hands-on approach. Position Overview We’re looking for a motivated Agricultural & Industrial Service Technician to join our team. In this role, you’ll install, service, and repair agricultural and industrial equipment both on farms and in production facilities. We’re seeking someone with a positive, “can-do” attitude who enjoys problem-solving, learning new skills, and working in a team-oriented environment. Key Responsibilities: - Install and commission new equipment with precision and attention to detail. - Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical issues. - Read and interpret technical manuals and drawings. - Prepare accurate daily service and repair reports. - Assist with daily scheduling and coordination of service activities. - Rig grain silos and assist crane operators on-site. - Train client staff on proper equipment operation. Qualifications: - Experience in agriculture or industrial environments is required (poultry ideally). - Background in construction, electrical, welding, or fabrication preferred. - Strong problem-solving and interpersonal skills. - Ability to work independently and as part of a team. - Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills. - Able to lift up to 50 lbs and work in varied weather conditions. - Valid Class 5 Driver’s Licence (required). Schedule: - Monday to Friday (8–10 hours per day). - Occasional overtime, evenings, and weekend shifts as needed. Compensation & Benefits: - $24–$35 per hour (based on experience). - Medical and dental benefits after 6 months. - 2 weeks paid vacation per year.
