Senior Civil Engineer Location: Abbotsford Salary: $120,000 - $150,000 Employment Type: Full-Time An established multidisciplinary consulting engineering firm in the Fraser Valley is seeking a Senior Civil Engineer to join its growing municipal infrastructure team. This role offers the opportunity to work on a diverse portfolio of civil and municipal projects throughout the Fraser Valley and broader Lower Mainland region. The company has built a strong reputation for delivering practical, cost-effective engineering solutions across civil, geotechnical, and structural disciplines, supporting municipalities, developers, contractors, and institutional clients. The firm works on a wide variety of infrastructure and development projects including stormwater management, drainage, municipal servicing, roadworks, and land development assignments throughout the Fraser Valley region. Responsibilities - Lead and manage municipal infrastructure and land development projects from concept through construction - Prepare and oversee designs related to: - Stormwater management systems - Municipal drainage infrastructure - Utilities and site servicing - Erosion and sediment control plans - Coordinate with municipalities, clients, contractors, and internal project teams - Prepare engineering reports, design calculations, and technical documentation - Support project delivery, scheduling, budgeting, and client communication - Perform and review detailed Civil 3D design and drafting work as required - Mentor junior technical staff and provide technical guidance Qualifications - P.Eng. designation in British Columbia (required) - 10+ years of civil engineering experience within a consulting environment - Strong municipal infrastructure and utilities background - Experience working with municipalities in the Fraser Valley and Lower Mainland preferred - Proficiency with: - Civil 3D - Autodesk software - Strong technical design capabilities with willingness to remain hands‑on in drafting and design production - Excellent communication and client relationship skills - Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast‑paced consulting environment What’s Offered - Competitive compensation package ($120K - $150K) - Opportunity to work on a broad range of municipal and infrastructure projects - Growing multidisciplinary engineering environment with strong regional presence - Cooperative and technically focused team cultureLong‑term growth potential within the organization #J-18808-Ljbffr Apply on Kit Job: kitjob.ca/job/2pifhy
