Job Overview

This hybrid position blends the joy of hands‑on professional pet care with helpful office support work. You will spend your days visiting furry (and feathered and scaly!) friends in their homes while also helping keep our business running smoothly behind the scenes. Must currently live in Abbotsford, BC Have your own reliable vehicle Have a smartphone for client communication Consistent availability on weekday mornings and lunch time up to around 1 or 2 pm Availability must be a minimum of 3 weekdays per week Be a resident of Canada A criminal record checkResponsibilities

Cat sitting, dog sitting, and dog walking (on‑leash, private walks around their neighbourhood) Petsitting for birds, fish, and other unique creatures Pet care includes feeding, fresh water, potty breaks, playtime, cuddles, and building genuine bonds with the pets you meet Sending messages and photo updates to pet parentsLight home care: watering plants, collecting mail/packages, tidying up after the pets, and ensuring homes are protected and secure Data entry Customer service including responding to email inquiries and messages Proofreading and editing documents and client communications Social media and website updatesAssisting with marketing, networking, and community events Qualities and Abilities

Have a genuine compassion for both animals AND people Are comfortable with all types of pets—big dogs, small dogs, cats, birds, fish, reptiles, rabbits, and more Can handle larger and more challenging dogs confidently and safely Are reliable, committed, and consistent in your availability Physically active, and able to walk big dogs sometimes for an hour or more, and handle multiple walks per shiftSkills Needed

Have excellent communication skills (verbal and written) Have excellent customer service and people skills Ability to take good digital photos of pets to share with the clients and use in our marketing efforts Familiarity with Wix, Canva, making videos, and managing social media on Instagram and Facebook would be very helpfulCompensation and Schedule

Pay: From $18.25 per hour Expected hours: 8.0– 12.0 per week Benefits
