Culturally Responsive Social Worker Role, Abbotsford British Columbia

Reporting to a Delegated Team Leader, you will engage directly with families to provide care and support according to the BC Child, Family and Community Services Act. This role seeks to foster connections between children and their cultural heritage. You will be instrumental in case planning, community involvement, and delivering services that protect children's rights and identities.

Key Responsibilities:• Strengthen family bonds and facilitate child reintegration • Center services around child and family interests • Enhance children's connections to community and culture • Deliver services under multiple family support frameworks • Engage actively in local community protocols

Requirements:• Bachelor’s degree in Social Work or allied discipline • At least three years’ experience in human services • Willingness to pursue C6 delegation training • Familiarity with BC child welfare legislation • Valid BC Driver’s License and transportation
