We are committed to safety, compliance, operational excellence, and exceptional customer service. We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Safety & Compliance Coordinator to join our team and help maintain our fleet’s compliance with all provincial, federal, and cross-border transportation regulations. Key Responsibilities - Monitor and maintain compliance with: - NSC/CVOR regulations - FMCSA and DOT requirements - Hours of Service (HOS) - ELD compliance - Driver qualification files - Drug & alcohol program requirements - Vehicle maintenance and inspection records - IFTA and IRP documentation - Conduct driver onboarding and orientation - Review driver logs, violations, and safety events daily - Track and manage: - Expiry dates for licenses, permits, insurance, and certifications - Driver abstracts and medicals - Commercial vehicle inspection schedules - Investigate accidents, incidents, and safety violations - Assist with safety meetings, training programs, and policy updates - Maintain organized digital and physical compliance files - Communicate with drivers regarding safety concerns and corrective actions - Support audits and inspections from regulatory authorities and customers - Work closely with dispatch, operations, and management teams to improve fleet safety performance Qualifications - Experience in trucking safety and compliance preferred - Knowledge of Canadian and U.S. transportation regulations - Familiarity with ELD systems and fleet management software - Robust organizational and multitasking skills - Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities - Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google Workspace - Ability to work in a fast-paced transportation environment - Experience with flatbed/open deck operations is considered an asset Preferred Skills - Knowledge of cross-border trucking compliance - Experience handling driver qualification files - Understanding of maintenance compliance programs - Strong attention to detail and documentation accuracy Compensation & Benefits - Competitive salary based on experience - Growth opportunities opportunities - Supportive and team-oriented work environment - Ongoing training and development Apply on Kit Job: kitjob.ca/job/2prmyj
