GP Practicing in Dermatology for Calgary (Rocky View County)

We are looking for Family Medicine Physicians specializing in Dermatology to join our growing team in Calgary, Alberta.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span> <\/div> <\/div> This position would entail full time, 5 -day per week clinical work.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span> <\/div> <\/div> While having previous dermatology training or experience is preferred, we also offer training opportunities for those interested.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span> <\/div> The GP/Dermatologist’s responsibilities include, but are not limited to:<\/b> <\/span><\/p> - Provide professional patient care always and provide a friendly and inviting environment for patients <\/li> - Conduct patient skin assessment, treatment planning and implementation, evaluation of treatments for effective outcomes <\/li> - Provide consult notes to referring family physicians for new patients <\/li> - Perform follow -up care for existing patients and/or refer to an internal general practitioner for continuation of care <\/li> - Assist with coaching nursing team to be able to provide effective patient care <\/li> - Participate in training and education opportunities provided by the company <\/li> - Adhere to company policies and protocols <\/li> - Work with marketing team to build and promote personal social media presence <\/li> - Utilize exceptional communication skills to build relationships with both patients and employees <\/span><\/li><\/ul> Requirements:<\/b> <\/span><\/p> - Current College of Physicians of Alberta (CPSA) License <\/li> - A strong passion for the cosmetic dermatology field <\/li> - Certifications for lasers, Botox, and/or dermal filler an asset, but not required <\/li> - Prior experience in the cosmetic and aesthetic medicine industry an asset, but not required <\/li> - Newer graduates welcome to apply <\/span><\/li><\/ul> About the clinic:<\/b> <\/span><\/p> We are a renowned Medical Group with over 35 years of experience in providing exceptional skincare treatment and services.
