Rehabilitation Therapist (Vet and Tech) (Rocky View County)

We are seeking a dedicated Rehabilitation Therapist (Veterinarian or Veterinary Technician) to join our passionate and collaborative rehab team in delivering exceptional care to boarding, post-surgical, and referral patients. Our cutting-edge rehabilitation centre is designed to push the standard of veterinary rehab forward. Equipped with a rehabilitation gym, shockwave therapy, laser therapy, thermography, stance analysis, land and underwater treadmills, and a therapeutic pool, you’ll have access to the tools and support needed to create real, life-changing outcomes for patients and their families. You’ll work alongside an experienced multidisciplinary team that includes a boarded surgeon, chiropractor, rehabilitation veterinarian, veterinary technicians, and hydrotherapist—all united by a shared commitment to excellence, growth, and compassionate care. In this role, you will: - Assist in conducting physical assessments and developing individualized rehabilitation plans for patients recovering from surgery, injury, or illness - Administer therapeutic treatments including hydrotherapy, laser therapy, shockwave therapy, and other rehabilitation modalities as directed by the veterinarian - Monitor and document patient progress while adapting treatment protocols as needed - Collaborate closely with veterinarians, technicians, and rehabilitation team to provide comprehensive patient care - Educate pet owners on at-home exercises and recovery support techniques - Maintain a clean, organized, and safe rehabilitation workplace What you bring to the team: - Are certified in rehabilitation therapy or actively pursuing certification (CCRP, CCRT, CCAT, or equivalent); Physical Therapists who have completed courses through the Animal Rehab Division of the Canadian Physiotherapy Association are also encouraged to apply - Possess strong communication and teamwork skills - Are compassionate, driven, and deeply committed to animal welfare - Can confidently follow treatment protocols and maintain accurate patient records - Thrive in a positive, fast-paced environment focused on growth, learning, and teamwork At Petfinity, you won’t just be joining a workplace—you’ll be joining a mission-driven team that believes in lifting each other up, celebrating progress, and making a meaningful impact every single day.
