Description
Delivery Manager Remote (Within Alberta) Our client is a rapid-growing software development firm focused on delivering high-quality applications across a diverse range of industries. Known for a fast-paced environment, they prioritize innovation and efficient workflows. They are currently seeking a professional to bridge the gap between technical execution and client vision. This role is designed for a versatile leader who can operate as a Delivery Manager. You will be the primary driver of project delivery, responsible for translating client requirements into actionable development tasks and holding teams accountable to timelines. This is a high-impact position where your ability to manage the non-technical aspects of product development will directly enable the technical team to focus on core execution. What You’ll Do Product Ownership and Requirements Management - Lead weekly client meetings to review requested features and capture the underlying intent of new requirements. - Translate vague client requests into detailed, scoped documentation and tickets within Linear. - Facilitate scoping sessions for new projects, creating diagrams, mock-ups, and documentation to define the project roadmap. Delivery Coordination and Accountability - Act as the primary point of accountability for project timelines, ensuring developers remain on track for scheduled releases. - Review completed work to ensure it meets the original intent and lead product demonstrations for clients. - Communicate proactively with clients regarding timeline shifts or technical roadblocks, explaining complex issues in an accessible manner. Stakeholder Communication and Engagement - Serve as the main point of contact for clients, shielding the technical team from constant communication interruptions. - Collaborate closely with technical leads to brainstorm solutions and determine the feasibility of client requests. - Manage a variety of projects simultaneously, adapting quickly to different software products and client needs. What You’ll Bring - Hybrid Professionalism: Proven ability to function across Project Management, Business Analysis, and Product Owner roles. - Technical Literacy: While not necessarily a developer, you must be \"technical enough\" to understand software constraints (e.g., forms, logic) and communicate effectively with engineers. - Accountability and Ownership: A strong track record of keeping teams to deadlines and taking full ownership of the non-technical product lifecycle. - Rapid Adaptability: The ability to quickly learn and manage multiple diverse software products and client environments. - Communication Excellence: Skilled at guiding clients through the discovery process to identify what they actually need versus what they initially ask for. - Tooling Proficiency: Experience with, or ability to quickly master, tools like Linear for ticketing and AI-assist workflows (e.g., Claude, Granola). This is an opportunity to join a growing company that values your expertise and provides significant opportunities to expand your skills and responsibilities. You will work in a supportive environment that offers comprehensive benefits, competitive compensation, and the flexibility of working remotely. Apply on Kit Job: kitjob.ca/job/2nm3g1
