Position: Expeditor II Pay Rate: $25-$30/hour on T4 Location: Calgary AB or Edmonton AB (Hybrid) Duration: 12+ Months (Possible Extension) Role Overview: This position is responsible for managing and expediting equipment and materials for Purchase Orders, Contracts, and Projects. The role involves proactive tracking, stakeholder coordination, documentation management, and ensuring timely delivery to site while mitigating risks and delays. Key Responsibilities: - Manage assigned equipment/materials to ensure on-time readiness and delivery as per project schedule. - Coordinate with suppliers for order status, delivery dates, and delay resolution. - Manage vendor documentation (drawings, RFIs, Inspection Test Plans (ITP), Weld Procedure Specifications (WPS), Vendor Data Requirements (VDR), etc.). - Schedule, chair, and minute vendor supply meetings and attend project meetings. - Review vendor fabrication schedules, inspection reports, and other data to prevent delays. - Notify stakeholders of potential delays and work on resolutions. - Oversee logistics coordination, including international shipments and customs clearance. - Maintain accurate records and support PO/Contract closeouts. - Build and maintain strong relationships with vendors, engineering, project teams, quality, and SCM stakeholders. Required Skills & Qualifications: - Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business Administration, or related field (or 3-5 years of relevant Supply Chain experience with Expediting as core). - Proven experience as an Expeditor in procurement/project environments. - Strong knowledge of purchasing processes, order tracking, and supply chain principles. - Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills. - Proficiency in Microsoft Office (especially Excel) and procurement systems. - Ability to work under pressure, prioritize effectively, and solve problems proactively.
