Server/Bartender (Airdrie)

Job Summary We are seeking a friendly and attentive Server/Bartender to join our dynamic restaurant team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service by taking orders, serving food and beverages, and ensuring guests have a memorable dining experience. The ideal candidate will have restaurant experience, strong communication skills, and a passion for hospitality. Responsibilities - Greet guests promptly and courteously, creating a welcoming atmosphere - Take food and beverage orders accurately using POS systems such as Clover POS - Serve food and drinks efficiently while maintaining high standards of presentation - Handle cash transactions accurately through cashiering and cash handling procedures - Ensure food safety and proper food handling protocols are followed at all times - Maintain cleanliness of the service area, including tables, bar, and workstations - Manage multiple tables or bar stations effectively through excellent time management skills - Provide knowledgeable recommendations on menu items to enhance guest experience - Assist in setting up and breaking down service stations before and after shifts - Uphold food industry standards for service quality, safety, and hygiene Requirements - Previous restaurant or food service experience preferred, especially with serving and bartending roles - Familiarity with POS systems such as Clover POS is highly desirable - Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with guests - Basic math skills for cash handling and billing purposes - Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures - Excellent time management skills to serve multiple guests efficiently during busy periods - Ability to work in a fast-paced setting while maintaining professionalism - Hospitality mindset with a friendly attitude and strong communication skills - Must be at least 18 years old or older to serve alcohol (if applicable) This role is vital in delivering an outstanding dining experience for our guests.
