Stress Engineer (Piping) – Oil & Gas Location: Calgary, Hybrid (3 days in office) Overview Insight Global is seeking an experienced Stress Engineer to support piping system design and integrity within oil & gas projects. This role focuses on performing detailed piping stress analysis using industry-leading tools, while collaborating cross-functionally to deliver practical, field-ready engineering solutions. This is an excellent chance for a hands-on engineer who brings a strong technical foundation and a pragmatic, solutions-driven mindset. Key Responsibilities - Perform piping stress analysis using tools such as Caesar II and/or AutoPIPE - Interpret and analyze isometric drawings to support system design accuracy - Ensure compliance with applicable codes, standards, and project requirements - Collaborate closely with design, structural, and project teams to align deliverables - Provide practical, real-world engineering solutions to complex piping challenges - Support the integrity and performance of piping systems across project phases Required Skills & Experience - 5–9 years of experience within the oil & gas industry - Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience with Caesar II and/or AutoPIPE - Strong communication and cross-functional collaboration skills - Demonstrated practical engineering mindset with problem-solving focus - Registered Professional Engineer (P.Eng) in Alberta Compensation: $40/hr to $50/hr Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.
