Production Supervisor - Overnight Shift (Airdrie)

Job description - 4 x 12hr shifts from 6pm - 6am - Supervisor will be responsible for managing production staff as they work on the canning production line. - Ensure that manufacturing runs smoothly - Make the necessary calls for maintenance or repairs - Manage team members needs and ensure everyone arrives on time and prepared to work - Ensure supplies are available and accessible for team members during shift - Restock supplies as needed for team members - Ensure safe work practices are being followed - Fill out required production paperwork and submit to administrative office for recording and filing - Pre-run and in-process QA checks - Produce nightly production report and send to necessary parties at end of shift - Responsible for ensuring every other position on the production floor is running smoothly and efficiently - Provide break coverage for production staff Additional requirements - Two years minimum experience in a supervision role related to manufacturing or production - First Aid Certification is an asset Skills - People management - Good problem solving/troubleshooting - Motivated to work - Attention to detail - Quick to serve and help out team members - Mechanical knowledge - Experience with canning lines very desireable Job Types: Full time, Permanent Pay: From $30.00 per hour Work Location: In person Apply on Kit Job: kitjob.ca/job/2p0867
