Description
Overview We are seeking a qualified and organized Front Desk/Receptionist to join our team. The ideal candidate will serve as the first point of contact for visitors and callers, providing exceptional customer service and administrative support. This role requires strong communication skills, proficiency in office software, and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Experience with excel, QuickBooks, and Google Workspace is highly desirable. Duties - Greet visitors and clients in a courteous and professional manner - Answer phone systems promptly and effectively, directing calls as needed - Manage appointment scheduling and coordinate calendars using Microsoft Office and Google Workspace tools - Perform data entry and maintain accurate records through filing and digital organization - Handle correspondence, emails, and other administrative tasks with attention to detail - Assist with billing, bookkeeping entries when necessary - Support office operations by managing supplies, maintaining cleanliness, and ensuring a welcoming environment - Provide customer support by addressing inquiries professionally and efficiently - Proofread documents for accuracy before distribution - Support office functions as needed, including patient check-in/out processes Requirements - Proven clerical or administrative experience, preferably in mputer skills including proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel), Google Workspace, and data entry software - Experience with QuickBooks and bookkeeping is a plus - Excellent organizational skills with the ability to multitask effectively - Exceptional phone etiquette and customer service skills for handling inquiries via phone or in person - Ability to perform filing, proofreading, and other clerical duties accurately - Familiarity with multi-line phone systems and front desk operations - Strong typing skills with attention to detail in data entry tasks - Office experience that demonstrates reliability and professionalism Prior medical or dental office experience is advantageous but not required; training will be provided as needed Pay: $16.50-$17.00 per hour Work Location: In person Apply on Kit Job: kitjob.ca/job/2p0agu
