Overview We are seeking a staff member to join the team at Crossiron Mills Mall Foodhall with the potential to become a supervisor. Food court environment and Decent tips!!! This role is essential in providing exceptional service to our guests while ensuring a clean and efficient food service environment. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food and hospitality, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced setting. Duties Assist in the preparation and presentation of food items, ensuring adherence to food safety standards. Sanitate work areas and equipment regularly to maintain a clean and safe kitchen environment. Provide excellent customer service by taking orders, serving food and beverages, and addressing guest inquiries. Utilize POS systems for order processing and payment transactions efficiently. Practice effective time management to ensure timely service during busy periods. Upsell menu items to enhance guest experience and increase sales. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth operations during meal service. Monitor food quality and presentation before serving to guests, ensuring high standards are met. Experience - Previous experience in food service or hospitality is preferred but not required. - Knowledge of food handling practices and food safety regulations is essential. - Basic math skills for handling transactions and managing orders accurately. - Strong communication skills with the ability to work well in a team-oriented environment. - A proactive approach to problem-solving and the ability to remain calm under pressure.
