Job Overview We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Consultant Psychiatrist to join our healthcare team. Responsibilities Conduct comprehensive psychiatric evaluations and assessments of patients across various age groups, including children and adolescents. Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to each patient's needs. Prescribe medication and monitor patient responses, adjusting treatments as necessary. Collaborate with psychologists, social workers, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care. Maintain accurate and detailed medical records in compliance with healthcare regulations. Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to discuss patient progress and treatment strategies. Provide consultation services to other healthcare providers regarding complex psychiatric cases. Engage in continuous professional development to stay current with advances in psychiatric practice and research. Skills Proven experience working with children and adolescents in a clinical setting. Prior hospital experience is highly desirable, demonstrating familiarity with inpatient or outpatient psychiatric care environments. Strong patient care skills with a compassionate approach to mental health treatment. Proficiency in medical terminology relevant to psychiatry and general medicine. Ability to collect, analyze, and interpret data related to patient symptoms, progress, and treatment outcomes. Excellent communication skills for engaging effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams. Ability to handle sensitive situations with professionalism and empathy.
