Administrative Assistant III Location: Calgary Type: Contract Rate of Pay: $42/hr Introduction: Brunel is currently seeking an Administrative Assistant III to provide high-level administrative support to a department or designated leader. This role requires a seasoned professional with strong organizational, communication, and multitasking abilities. The ideal candidate operates with minimal supervision, demonstrates sound judgment, and contributes to the efficient functioning of daily operations. Responsibilities: - Provide comprehensive administrative support, including drafting correspondence, typing, filing, and maintaining records - Manage calendars, schedule meetings, and coordinate appointments and travel arrangements - Answer and direct phone calls, emails, and other communications professionally - Organize and coordinate meetings, conferences, and special events, including logistics and materials preparation - Maintain office systems, including record keeping and document management - Order and manage office supplies and ensure availability of necessary resources - Sort, distribute, and manage incoming and outgoing mail - Support special projects by gathering, compiling, analyzing, and reporting information - Coordinate across departments to ensure timely execution of administrative tasks Qualifications: - 5-10 years of administrative experience in a qualified environment - Experience in the oil and gas industry an asset - Recognized as highly skilled and knowledgeable in administrative practices - Experience supporting senior leaders or complex teams preferred - Professional certification (e.g., administrative professional certification) is a plus - Excellent verbal and written communication skills - Strong organizational and time management abilities with proven ability to multitask and prioritize - Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and email systems - Demonstrated administrative coordination and problem-solving skills - Strong customer service orientation with the ability to interact professionally at all levels - Ability to work independently with minimal supervision - High attention to detail and accuracy What We Offer Why work with Brunel?
