Senior Survey & Construction Coordinator Spartan is seeking an individual to fulfill the responsibilities of a Senior Survey & Construction Coordinator to join the Operations team. This role is primarily responsible for planning, coordinating, and executing all survey activities related to well-sites, pipelines, facilities, and access roads in support of Spartan’s field development. This is a full-time, in-office position based in our downtown Calgary location. Occasional field travel within Alberta to support survey and construction activities is required. What You Will Do - Maintain strong communication with cross-functional teams including Drilling, Completions, Exploitation, Production, Facilities, and Land. - Collaborate with Surface Land to secure survey approvals, access, and align execution plans. - Facilitate stakeholder alignment to define survey requirements supporting development programs. - Review and validate survey scope against current drill plans prior to execution. - Coordinate and oversee all field survey and construction activities related to well-sites, access roads, and pipelines. - Support well-site pad site selection through field scouting, considering operational efficiency, environmental impact, and community concerns. - Work with engineering and construction teams to optimize pad design and pipeline routing for constructability and long-term operations. - Ensure all survey plans comply with environmental and regulatory requirements in collaboration with Environmental and Regulatory specialists. - Obtain and manage noise impact assessments and implement site mitigation strategies where necessary. - Monitor survey program performance, tracking schedule, cost, and quality metrics. - Identify risks, inefficiencies, and opportunities for improvement, and implement corrective actions as required. - Prepare and manage AFEs for survey and pad construction activities. - Manage as-built surveys and ensure accurate and timely documentation. - Coordinate No-Entry Cancellations and maintain compliance with AER disposition requirements.
