Server/bartender Airdrie

Job Summary We are seeking a friendly and attentive Server/Bartender to join our dynamic restaurant team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service by taking orders, serving food and beverages, and ensuring guests have a memorable dining experience. The ideal candidate will have restaurant experience, robust communication skills, and a passion for hospitality. Responsibilities Greet guests promptly and courteously, creating a welcoming atmosphere Take food and beverage orders accurately using POS systems such as Clover POS Serve food and drinks efficiently while maintaining high standards of presentation Handle cash transactions accurately through cashiering and cash handling procedures Ensure food safety and proper food handling protocols are followed at all times Maintain cleanliness of the service area, including tables, bar, and workstations Manage multiple tables or bar stations effectively through excellent time management skills Provide knowledgeable recommendations on menu items to enhance guest experience Assist in setting up and breaking down service stations before and after shifts Uphold food industry standards for service quality, safety, and hygiene Requirements Previous restaurant or food service experience preferred, especially with serving and bartending roles Familiarity with POS systems such as Clover POS is highly desirable Robust customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with guests Basic math skills for cash handling and billing purposes Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures Excellent time management skills to serve multiple guests efficiently during busy periods Ability to work in a fast-paced setting while maintaining professionalism Hospitality mindset with a friendly attitude and strong communication skills Must be at least 18 years old or older to serve alcohol (if applicable) This role is vital in delivering an outstanding dining experience for our guests.
