Full-Time Speech Language Pathologist RVS, Airdrie

Join Rocky View Schools as a full-time Speech Language Pathologist to support students' communication needs in Alberta schools. Utilize your expertise to provide essential speech and language services to students from Pre-kindergarten to Grade 12.

This continuing position requires a Master’s degree in Speech Language Pathology and experience with Early Childhood. You will assess students, collaborate with teachers and families, and develop individualized support plans to enhance communication skills. Your role is vital in fostering a safe and inclusive learning environment for over29,000 students in RVS.

Key Responsibilities:• Conduct screenings and communicate results to staff and families • Coordinate with diagnostic data from various sources • Collaborate with parents and staff for program recommendations • Prepare assessments for funding eligibility • Promote communication competence through intervention activities

Requirements:• Master’s degree in Speech Language Pathology • Registration with Alberta College of Speech Language Pathologists • Minimum 2 years’ experience with speech delays • Previous school division experience is an asset • Strong assessment and communication skills
