Visual Merchandiser (Airdrie)

Job Summary We are seeking an EXPERIENCED creative and detail-oriented VISUAL MERCHANDISER to enhance the aesthetic appeal of our retail spaces and drive customer engagement. The ideal candidate will possess strong skills in visual design, merchandising, and marketing, with the ability to translate brand concepts into compelling visual displays. This role involves collaborating with sales teams and utilizing various design tools to create attractive, organized, and effective product presentations that align with our brand identity and marketing strategies. This is a VISUAL MERCHANDISING position , this is NOT following Planograms. Responsibilities - Design and implement eye-catching visual displays that highlight products and promotions, ensuring alignment with brand standards. - Develop layout plans. - Coordinate with retail sales teams to understand product placement needs and customer flow patterns. - Manage the setup, maintenance, and removal of visual displays. - Utilize marketing insights to create engaging window displays and in-store arrangements that attract foot traffic. - Maintain organizational skills to keep display areas tidy, stocked, and visually appealing at all times. - Assist with promotional campaigns as needed. - Collaborate with management on seasonal updates and special event displays to maximize sales opportunities. - Provide excellent customer service by engaging with shoppers when appropriate and answering questions about displays or products. Qualifications - Proven experience in retail sales, visual merchandising, or related fields. - Strong understanding of visual design principles, merchandising techniques, and marketing strategies. - Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. - Effective communication skills for collaborating with team members and presenting ideas clearly. - Knowledge of cashiering or sales processes is a plus but not required. - Ability to work independently with strong time management skills. - Prior experience in customer service is advantageous for engaging effectively with shoppers.
