Our Work Setting - Modern office setting - Growth opportunities General Manager We are seeking a General Manager to join our team. We are looking for a leader who is hands‑on, fully engaged and will provide a rewarding environment for our employees and our guests. Must have Min 5 years of management experience in the hospitality industry. Responsibilities - Leading, planning, organizing, and directing of hotel services, including front desk, meetings/banquet/food/beverage, sales, housekeeping, maintenance and accounting. - Ensuring excellent customer service to all guests and overseeing all aspects of guest service to ensure superior guest satisfaction. - Ensure quality standards are met in all areas of the hotel as it relates to appearance, maintenance and cleanliness. - Maximize room revenue by anticipating and planning for market shifts and developing and monitoring strategic marketing and sales initiatives. - Maintain team member motivation, training and development and compliance with policies, procedures and labor regulations. - Pricing strategy & set up for each room type and restriction as needed, control pricing on RMS basis. - Maintain and track accounts payable; email invoice and statement once every 15 days for outstanding items. - Maximizing profitability through revenues and cost and labour control by overseeing revenues and expenses and working within budgets. - Participating in sales and revenue strategies. - Assisting in the development of the annual budget, business and marketing plans to implement and monitor such plans and participate in local and regional sales and marketing efforts. - Developing and maintaining business through rapport and connection with the local community. - Perform front desk duty when needed.
