Server (Drumheller)

Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Server to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing exceptional guest services, ensuring a pleasant dining experience for all patrons. You will work closely with kitchen staff and management to deliver high-quality food and beverage service while adhering to food safety standards. Responsibilities - Greet and seat guests in a friendly manner, providing menus and information about daily specials. - Take accurate food and drink orders using a POS system, ensuring timely delivery to guests. - Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of the dining area, including tables, chairs, and service stations. - Assist in food handling and preparation as needed while following all safety regulations. - Process cash handling transactions accurately, including handling payments and providing change. - Respond promptly to guest inquiries and requests, ensuring satisfaction throughout their dining experience. - Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service of meals and address any issues that may arise. - Manage time effectively to balance multiple tables while maintaining high service standards. Qualifications - Previous experience in food service or as a server is preferred but not required. - Knowledge of food safety practices and sanitation standards is essential. - Strong guest service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with customers and team members. - Proficient in cash handling and cashiering procedures; familiarity with POS systems is a plus. - Ability to work in a fast-paced setting while maintaining attention to detail. - Excellent time management skills to ensure efficient service delivery during peak hours. - Must be able to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
