Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Line Cook to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food and cooking, with experience in a fast-paced kitchen environment. As a Line Cook, you will be responsible for preparing high-quality meals, ensuring food safety standards, and collaborating with the kitchen staff to deliver exceptional dining experiences. Duties Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and standards. Ensure all food is prepared in a timely manner to meet service demands. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen workspace, including proper storage of ingredients and supplies. Adhere to food safety and sanitation guidelines at all times. Assist in meal preparation and presentation, ensuring all dishes are visually appealing. Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure smooth operation during service hours. Monitor inventory levels of food supplies and report any shortages to the kitchen manager. Participate in training new kitchen staff on food preparation techniques and safety protocols. Skills Proven experience in food preparation and cooking within a restaurant or commercial kitchen setting. Solid knowledge of food safety practices and handling procedures. Ability to work efficiently in a high-pressure workplace while maintaining quality standards. Excellent teamwork skills with the ability to communicate effectively with kitchen staff. Familiarity with various cooking methods, ingredients, equipment, and procedures. Attention to detail in meal preparation and presentation.
