Responsibilities Prepare ingredients and assemble dishes according to recipes and presentation standards Cook menu items with consistency, efficiency, and attention to detail Assist in food preparation tasks, including chopping, marinating, and portioning ingredients Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen, including washing dishes and sanitizing work surfaces Follow food safety guidelines and proper handling procedures at all times Support the team during busy periods by efficiently managing multiple orders Ensure all food is stored correctly and inventory is monitored regularly Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders and uphold quality standards Skills Proven experience in serving, food preparation, or cooking within a restaurant or food service environment Strong knowledge of food handling safety protocols and food safety regulations Ability to perform meal preparation efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced setting Excellent understanding of kitchen operations and food industry best practices Good communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with team members Knowledge of restaurant experience preferred but not required; enthusiasm for learning is valued Attention to detail, organization, and a commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness and safety This role is vital for delivering exceptional dining experiences through skillful preparation and teamwork.
