Job Overview We are seeking a friendly and efficient Host/Server to join our vibrant restaurant team. Responsibilities - Greet guests warmly and manage reservations to ensure efficient seating arrangements - Take customer orders accurately using POS systems such as Micros POS and handle cashiering duties - Serve food and beverages promptly while maintaining high standards of food safety and food handling procedures - Assist in setting up dining areas, cleaning tables, and maintaining a welcoming atmosphere - Manage guest inquiries and resolve concerns promptly to ensure customer satisfaction - Handle cash transactions accurately, including basic math calculations for bills and change - Collaborate with kitchen staff and other team members to deliver seamless service - Uphold food industry standards and adhere to health regulations at all times Requirements - Previous restaurant or food service experience is preferred but not mandatory; training will be provided - Familiarity with POS systems such as Micros POS is a plus - Strong customer service skills with a friendly, professional demeanor - Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently during busy hours - Knowledge of food safety practices and proper food handling procedures - Basic math skills for cashiering and bill calculations - Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail - Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, or holidays as needed; prior hospitality or food industry experience is advantageous This position offers an engaging work environment where you can enhance your hospitality skills while providing memorable experiences for our guests.
