Tenure Track ESL Teaching Professor Position, Québec

Applicants must hold a Ph.D. in Teaching English as a Second Language or Applied Linguistics. You will teach a variety of TESL courses and supervise practical internships to cultivate skilled educators. This role involves significant contributions to the Baccalauréat en enseignement des langues secondes sector and includes opportunities for seminar delivery and research.

Key Responsibilities:• Teach TESL courses focusing on methodology and grammar • Supervise and evaluate TESL interns in educational environments • Manage and organize BEALS admission and testing • Contribute to SPEAQ conference planning on campus • Conduct research in collaboration with Language Sciences faculty

Requirements:• Ph.D. in Teaching English as a Second Language or related field • High proficiency in English; willingness to learn French • Experience in ESL teaching preferable • Documented research activities and community involvement • Interest in diverse aspects of language education
