We are seeking a Financial Reporting&Accounting Intern to join our finance team and support period‑end and quarter‑end reporting activities. This is an exciting opportunity to strengthen technical accounting skills and gain experience in financial analysis within a fast‑paced, collaborative environment.
Responsibilities
Support month-end and quarter-end closing activities, including variance analysis, journal entries, and balance sheet reconciliations.
Assist with cash management and analysis.
Contribute to drafting and improving general accounting procedures including cash flow, fixed assets, and month-end modules.
Identify opportunities to enhance tools and streamline processes.
Perform additional accounting tasks as needed.
The role involves daily (or regular) communication with pan‑Canadian stakeholders.
Qualifications
Currently pursuing a degree in Accounting, CPA path.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel and PowerPoint.
Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple projects with accuracy.
Proactive and solution‑oriented mindset.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
