Contract CG / 3D Artist, Québec

Interactive Contractor Canada Remote $40 - $50 CAD per hour Intergalactic is looking for a 3D Generalist on a project by project contract basis. You have a passion for creating amazing computer generated imagery, detailed 3D modelling, and inspired effects and animations. An adept problem-solver, you will be someone who will find creative solutions to realize artistic visions within the technical and project limits to build new visual experiences ranging from photo realistic renders to AR / VR environments to animations and effects.What you will do: Work closely with artists, designers, engineers and the rest of the team to create and improve art production workflows, tools, pipelines and assets. Create digital assets including designing and modelling. Texturing and shading. Animation. Lighting and rendering. Realize creative visions, art and designs into AR and VR experiences.Develop pipelines and efficiency tools for projects and teams. Collaborate in small teams to ship experiences working with Unity, Unreal and other graphics tools. The ideal candidate will have the following: Strongly proficient in Tools such as 3DS Max or Maya Experience doing lighting and working with shadersModelling, texturing, rigging, animation and lighting expertise Good knowledge of scripting within the game engine Experience in AR/VR A portfolio of original art A desire to help ideate and develop cool interactive experiences that use CGI to communicate and engage Nice to haves include: Solid interest or background in ArchitectureExperience with Unreal and 3D applications Development experience in Unity Solid artistic skills (drawing or digital painting) is a plus Interested?
