Location&Pay Quebec City, Quebec– $16 – $21 per hour (base minimum $16.10 to $21.00, productivity‑based).
Shift Monday to Friday, 5:00 AM– 1:00 PM (First Shift).
Job Description The Warehouse Worker is responsible for sorting incoming and outgoing warehouse product with or without material handling equipment in a safe and efficient manner.
Responsibilities
Unload and palletize freight (e.g., trucks, trailers, rail cars, etc.)
Sort and organize merchandise
Operate various types of material handling equipment
Sort, repack, recondition, and label freight
Identify unusable pallets
Basic ability to read, count, and use RF scanner technology (training provided)
Remove items from sorting bins, scan, and place onto conveyor belt
Remove items from packing bins, scan for accuracy, produce packing list, and bag items
Operate warehouse machinery in accordance with customer standard operating procedures (e.g., bailers, trash compactors, shrink wrappers, etc.)
Maintain a clean and hazard‑free work area
Reasonable accommodations may be made for individuals with disabilities to perform essential functions
Requirements
6 months of warehouse experience (preferred, but training provided)
Work in a physically demanding environment– continuously lift and move up to 50 lbs
Certification in material handling equipment preferred (e.g., electric pallet jack)
Meet fast‑paced productivity goals and standards
Excellent customer service skills required
Overtime and weekend work required during peak or seasonal volumes
Ability to work in various climate conditions, including refrigerated/freezer areas
Reliable transportation and punctuality
Stand/climb for 8 to 10 hours per day
Effective communication skills
Safety shoes required
Other duties as assigned
