Apprentice plumber (Albanel)

Work Term: Permanent Work Language: French Hours: 40 hours per week Education: Registered Apprenticeship certificate Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years Tasks Install domestic, commercial or industrial plumbing fixtures and systems Repair domestic, commercial or industrial plumbing fixtures and systems Read blueprints, drawings and specifications to determine layout of plumbing system, water supply network and waste and drainage systems Locate and mark positions for pipe connections, passage holes and fixtures in walls and floors Join pipes using couplings, clamps, screws, bolts, cement or soldering, brazing and welding equipment Test pipes for leaks using air and water pressure gauges Determine piping system requirements and pipe sizing Measure, cut, thread and bend pipes to required shape and size Certificates, licences, memberships, and courses Plumber Trade Certification Occupational Health and Safety Certificate Parts specialization Plumbing Security and safety Drug test Transportation/travel information Valid driver''s licence Work conditions and physical capabilities Physically demanding Bending, crouching, kneeling Handling heavy loads Large workload Personal suitability Accurate Effective interpersonal skills Team player Screening questions Are you authorized to work in Canada?
