Are you the go-to person who keeps everything running smoothly? Reporting to the Maintenance Manager, you will be part of a small team of maintenance attendants and technicians, responsible for responding to guest maintenance requests of the hotel. YOUR ROLE Proceed to visual inspection of the equipmentActively participate in preventive building maintenance procedures Perform daily maintenance work and reflect their activities in their schedule Perform interior and exterior work Report any defective systems and make the necessary corrections Possibility of gathering materiel outside the propertyAssist with moving, lifting, carrying, and placing of objects by move up and down stairs, service ramps, and/or ladder Responsible for maintaining all mechanical component of the building under the supervision of the maintenance supervisor Proceed to minor electrical work (ex: light bulbs change)Ensure that service manuals are follow during preventive maintenance, repair or replacement of systems or components and adhere to sound engineering practices, building codes and health&safety precautions YOUR PROFILE Experience in building maintenance High school Diploma or College diploma in mechanical technic of a building or an equivalent is an asset In good physical condition, capable of handling heavy materials and perform labour intensive duties, move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing less than or equal to 100 pounds without assistanceWHAT WE OFFER A percentage of the group insurance is paid by the employer for full time employees Promotional rate to discover Germain Hôtels properties through Canada Opportunities to develop your career within a growing company across Canada Access to the hotel gym Employee referral programEmployee Assistance Program for team member and their family
