Lead the logistics team for Relay For Life events with the Canadian Cancer Society. Motivate volunteers and ensure a seamless experience for participants and attendees.

Taking on the role of Logistics Director, you will collaborate closely with the Relay Director of Community Engagement. Your leadership will drive the committee’s success through effective planning, support, and motivation of team members. By managing logistics, entertainment, ceremonies, and more, you will aim to create a memorable event focused on community and cancer awareness.

Key Responsibilities:• Work with committee members to develop operational plans • Engage volunteers and motivate them toward shared goals • Coordinate logistics for registration, entertainment, and ceremonies • Communicate with CCS Staff Partner for event updates • Facilitate post-event feedback and debriefing discussions

Requirements:• Strong leadership skills with experience in volunteer management • Community knowledge to foster connections • Ability to create engaging and meaningful experiences • Commitment to ongoing leadership and monthly meetings • Willingness to increase involvement as event day approaches
