We are seeking an experienced and dynamic individual to oversee road courier operations and lead a team of unionized employees. The successful candidate will be responsible for fostering a positive and productive work environment while ensuring operational goals are achieved efficiently. This role requires a motivated leader who can drive performance through effective coaching, recognition, and employee engagement.Responsibilities

Oversee and manage courier operations, ensuring smooth and efficient workflow Supervise and lead a team of unionized employees, fostering a positive and collaborative environment Achieve operational targets outlined in the operational dashboard Monitor and manage employee performance in line with operational standards and KPIsContinuously improve operational standards through performance reviews, coaching, feedback, and recognition Communicate and implement company policies, procedures, and programs to ensure compliance and alignment Prepare and complete various reports related to operations and employee performance Consistently demonstrate core competencies in communication, innovation, change management, relationship building, and leadershipPerform all other related duties as assigned Additional Responsibilities

3 years of staff management experience, ideally in a unionized environment with warehouse, courier, or transportation employees Experience in logistics (an asset) Valid Class 5 driver’s license or equivalent Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office SuiteProven experience applying and complying with Health and Safety and Labour Canada regulationsStrong command of French (spoken and written) Must be adaptable and willing to work flexible hours and days to meet operational needs
