Peak Construction Project Manager Peak Construction Ltd., Alberta, Canada Salary: $120,000–$150,000 per year. Full‑time. Schedule: Monday–Friday. Remote work with occasional travel to Alberta or Ontario. Summary The Project Manager supervises and administers construction projects and is fully accountable for contractual obligations, client assurances, and financial results. The PM manages tendering, contracts, communication with sub‑trades, consultants, and the superintendent and client. They provide support to construction staff on site, manage drawings and design review, and ensure compliance with contracts and a strict adherence to schedule and budget. The ideal candidate is a highly motivated leader who delivers productivity independently. Responsibilities Overall responsibility for the successful execution of projects in accordance with contract and quality requirements. Primary point of contact between client, consultants, trades, and site superintendent to facilitate the project from conception to completion. Manage site work, keeping project scope on budget and on schedule. Coordinate with required project resources to develop execution planning deliverables, including construction supervision, technical staff, engineering, quality control, safety, performance, sub‑contractors, client stakeholders, etc. Ensure project is constructed in compliance with drawings and specifications/codes. Provide technical guidance to Site Superintendents, General Foremen, and Project Coordinators. Review and approve purchasing requisitions, subcontracts, and invoice payments. Ensure compliance with all Occupational Health & Safety Acts applicable to the province or state where the project is executed. Skills & Qualifications At least ten years of progressive construction experience. Understanding of construction standards, methods, assemblies, plans, specifications, regulations, and codes. Experience managing multiple projects. Preferred experience in warehouse construction, distribution facility construction, and large retail. Ability to work collaboratively in a team setting. Excellent written and verbal communication skills with clients, management, crew, and sub‑trades. Solid sense of construction timelines, scheduling, sub‑trade management, and budgets. Diligent and keen attention to detail. Ability to execute reliably in a fast‑paced setting. Compensation & Benefits Competitive salary: $120,000–$150,000 per year (negotiable).
