Welder /Fitter (Gormley)

We are seeking a skilled Welder / Fitter with a minimum of 5 years of experience and a valid CWB certification. The ideal candidate will be responsible for fitting, welding, and fabricating metal components according to drawings and specifications while maintaining high quality and safety standards. Key Responsibilities - Perform fitting and welding of metal components as per blueprints and drawings - Read and interpret fabrication drawings, symbols, and weld specifications - Weld using approved CWB procedures (MIG, Flux-Core, Stick, as applicable) - Fit structural steel, plates, beams, and pipes accurately - Inspect welds to ensure quality and compliance with standards - Operate welding and fabrication tools safely and efficiently - Maintain a clean and safe work environment - Meet production schedules and quality requirements - Follow all safety policies and procedures Requirements & Qualifications - Minimum 5 years of experience as a Welder / Fitter - Valid CWB certification (mandatory) - Strong ability to read and understand blueprints and weld symbols - Experience with structural steel and fabrication work - Knowledge of welding codes and safety standards - Ability to work independently and as part of a team - Solid attention to detail and workmanship Preferred (Asset) - Additional welding processes or positions - Forklift or overhead crane experience - Shop or site experience Apply on Kit Job: kitjob.ca/job/2n9uxj
