Kitchen and Bath Cabinetry Designer & Project Manager (Aurora)

Join our team as a Kitchen and Bath (and other millwork) designer & Project Manager. We're seeking an individual who is passionate about designing functional and aesthetically pleasing spaces. Responsibilities: - Collaborate with clients to understand their design needs, preferences, and budget - Create detailed kitchen designs using digital design software and tools (ex/Sketch Up or Chief Architect) - Utilize software to create visually appealing and functional millwork designs - Use Design Software to create accurate and exact measurements for the cabinetry layouts - Select appropriate materials, finishes, and hardware for each project - Present design concepts to clients and make necessary revisions based on feedback - Coordinate with management, contractors and suppliers to ensure smooth implementation of the design - Responsible for site visits for obtaining measurements as well as installation support. - Provide exceptional customer service and guidance through the design and build process - Stay up to date on industry trends, product knowledge, and best practices. Requirements: - Proven experience as a Kitchen/Cabinetry Designer or similar role - Experience in construction would be an asset - Proficiency in design software such as Chief Architect, or Sketch Up. - Ability to create 3D animations for virtual walkthroughs of kitchen/millwork designs - Excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with clients, contractors, and suppliers - Attention to detail and ability to work within project timelines - Candidate must demonstrate emotional maturity to excel in our team environment. This includes the ability to handle challenging situations with composure , navigate interpersonal dynamics effectively, and maintain professionalism in all interactions. - Candidates should possess strong self awareness, empathy, and resilience allowing them to collaborate productively and contribute positively to our workplace culture. Please note this is a contract position with possibility of becoming permanent.
