Bartender and Server (Aurora)

Job Summary We are seeking a friendly and professional Bartender and Server to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will provide exceptional guest services, prepare and serve beverages and food, and ensure a welcoming atmosphere for all patrons. This role requires strong multitasking skills, excellent communication, and a passion for hospitality. Previous experience in food service and familiarity with POS systems are highly valued. Duties - Take orders from guests accurately and efficiently, ensuring timely service of food and beverages - Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks following standard recipes and safety guidelines - Handle cash transactions using Micros POS or similar systems, including cashiering and cash handling responsibilities - Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in the bar and dining areas, adhering to food safety regulations - Upsell menu items to enhance guest experience and increase sales opportunities - Assist in food preparation when needed, ensuring proper food handling and sanitation practices - Manage multiple tables or bar stations simultaneously while providing attentive guest service - Monitor guest satisfaction, address concerns promptly, and ensure a positive dining experience Requirements - Previous experience in food service, restaurant, or hospitality industry preferred - Knowledge of POS systems such as Micros POS or similar platforms - Strong time management skills to handle busy service periods efficiently - Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, approachable demeanor - Ability to handle food safely, including proper food handling, sanitation, and basic food preparation skills - Basic math skills for accurate cash handling and billing procedures - Experience with serving alcohol responsibly in compliance with legal regulations - Ability to work in a fast-paced setting while maintaining attention to detail - Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, or holidays as needed Join our team to deliver memorable experiences through exceptional service in a vibrant setting!
