Your Responsibilities

You’ll lead accounting system integrations and ERP conversions for newly acquired entities, ensuring accurate and efficient transitions from legacy platforms into standardized financial environments.

You’ll partner closely with cross‑functional teams, including finance, operations, legal, and external advisors, to support acquisition integration activities and align financial reporting requirements.

You’ll support technical accounting and acquisition accounting processes, including purchase price accounting, post‑close adjustments, and related financial analysis.

You’ll manage and reconcile trial balances, validate financial data integrity, and resolve discrepancies across multiple entities and systems.

You’ll analyze and interpret complex financial documentation and accounting records in both English and French to support integration and reporting activities.

You’ll contribute to the continuous improvement of integration processes, systems, and controls.

You’ll communicate financial changes clearly to stakeholders, ensuring alignment and understanding across teams.

You’ll help train and guide newly integrated finance teams, setting them up for long‑term success.

Skills and Qualifications

5+ years of progressive experience in technical accounting; Big 4/Public Accounting training strongly preferred.

Bilingual in English and French, with the ability to interpret complex financial and legal documentation in both languages.

CPA designation required.

Demonstrated experience with financial systems and data integrations in various ERP systems.

Strong knowledge of Canadian accounting standards; acquisition accounting practices considered an asset.

Proven ability to work cross‑functionally and manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment.

Strong communication and relationship‑building skills, with a collaborative and adaptable approach.

Exposure to acquisition accounting, M&A, transaction advisory, or related consulting work is considered an asset.
