Magna Golf Club, one of Canada’s most exclusive private golf clubs located in Aurora, Ontario, is looking for Seasonal Golf Course Maintenance Labourers for the 2026 season. Successful applicants need to be able to work into the fall.

DETAILED POSITION DESCRIPTION

The Seasonal Golf Course Maintenance Labourer role is essential to the day‑to‑day operations of the Magna Golf Club Maintenance department. You will be involved in many aspects of turf management practices with the goal of providing consistent tournament conditions every day of our six‑month season.

All Maintenance employees are required to complete a comprehensive training and orientation process to ensure their safety. We provide a positive and supportive atmosphere, where individuals can succeed.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Involvement in the 2026 bunker renovation project when required

Sandtrap maintenance and repair when required

Maintain playing surfaces as directed

Utility vehicle operation on the course

Mower, dump trailer and/or other light equipment operation as required

Help with general course clean up

Perform other duties as assigned

Ability to begin work in the early morning and to work alternate weekends (4 hours/day on weekends)

Desired Skills:

Prior golf course or sports turf experience preferred

Williness to learn and expand your current skill set

Williness to work in variable weather conditions

Strong work ethic and punctuality a must

Valid driver’s license
