We have in-house employee teams in product design, marketing, operations, sales, supply chain, customer service, finance, information technology, human resources, warehouse operations, and logistics. JOB DESCRIPTION Job Summary This role provides customer service to customers in Canada and the US, providing information on products, pricing, order entry, order status, shipping arrangements and warranty inquiries. This position is part of a consolidated Customer Service team of approximately 10 team members. French bilingual skills are required. Position & Work Environment § This is an in-office role at our Head Office in Aurora, Ontario. Hours are 37.5 hours/week. Starting hours are 9:00 am to 5 pm Monday to Friday. § Benefits are provided after 3 months. Paid sick leave and paid Personal time off are provided. § This is a great opportunity to work for a medium-sized company with a warm, family-friendly, casual, and informal work environment. § This is not a role working a phone queue all day. There are very few calls, and most of the work is received via email or EDI orders. Duties and responsibilities § Enter daily customer orders, either manually or via EDI (electronic data interface), across a large kitchenware product offering for customers in Canada and the US. § Enter customer sample requests to warehouses. § Respond to customer inquiries promptly and resolve product or service issues via email or phone. § Check daily open orders and back-order reports to ensure products are being shipped. § Work with Leaders for order availability/out of stock/shipping/pricing questions. § Work with the Microsoft Business Central ERP system. § Liaise internally with sales employees as needed for customer order questions. § Process warranty and defective product claims § Understand all pricing processes working with Finance as needed. § Escalate customer concerns when needed. § Assist other team members with daily work distribution and coverage. Qualifications § Must be French bilingual with excellent spoken and written French skills § Post-secondary education preferred § 2-3 years of similar customer service or inside sales experience supporting a high volume of order entry and a variety of other customer support functions § Must have excellent written and oral communication skills to write clear emails to customers throughout North America and to respond to phone inquiries § This is a high-volume email/order-entry role, not a high-volume phone-queue role § Strong Microsoft computer skills, ability to learn in-house systems and adapt to technology quickly. § ERP system experience is required, along with positive Excel skills § Attention to detail and the entry of numbers are required for order accuracy § Experience working in a team environment, demonstrating flexibility, adaptability and working in a high-volume, fast-paced environment § Strong problem-solving skills to understand processes, where customers may be experiencing issues, and how to resolve issues internally Browne encourages interested and qualified candidates to apply with salary expectations and a resume.
