Production Associate– Plastics Plant, Aurora

Our client, a plastics manufacturer in Aurora, is looking for great people to join their team! This is a direct hire job opportunity! After a three month probation, you will be eligible for medical and dental benefits, paid time off, and RRSP matching!

Responsibilities

Packing a variety of manufactured products (lids and containers) accurately and efficiently

Check quality of product every stack, top and bottom

Apply appropriate colored bag to the stack and pack and tape the bag closed

Place bagged product into the appropriate bin

Count and document the number of plastic sleeves of products that are packed during each shift

Ensure that all parts are removed from the machine, table and over top of the conveyor

Print boxes and labels

Pay Rate $19.50/hour

Requirements

Minimum of Grade 12 or equivalent

Basic math and computer skills

Must be able to differentiate between colors and their shades

Must be able to speak, read and write English

Must be able to bend, twist and lift up to 30lbs on a continuous basis

Able to work 12 hour rotating continental shifts
