Driver Trainer - Student Transportation, Richmond Hill North

Voyago, Transdev Ontario, is hiring a Driver Trainer for an existing opening based in our Gormley office, supporting operations across the expanded GTA regions.

About the Role Full‑Time Driver Trainer

Hourly Rate:

$25.50

Primary Responsibilities Reporting to the Operations Manager, the Driver Trainer is responsible for training and teaching employees how to drive all company‑owned vehicles safely and professionally. The role also includes providing a high degree of customer service in a fast‑paced work environment.

Driving a school route as required.

Completion of driving assessments.

Instruction of Voyago divisional training as required.

Licence upgrade training (E and B class).

Outside instructional training programs as required by the training school division manager.

Requirements

B or E licence held for a minimum of 3 years.

P.R.I.D.E. certified as an asset.

Excellent proven customer service experience.

In‑depth knowledge of Southwestern Ontario.

Good organization and communication skills.

Availability to work flexible hours.

Knowledge of wheelchair tie‑downs and Q‑strain.

Possess a clean driver’s abstract.

Preferred: previous instructional/teaching experience.

Preferred: previous driver assessment experience.

Preferred: instructional experience.
