General Labourer (Aurora)

Findlay Restoration provides emergency response, restoration and reconstruction services to the insurance industry, residential, commercial and industrial customers. With 24/7 emergency service, we offer a wide range of services that remediate conditions caused by water, wind, fire, environmental hazards, mould remediation and other casualties. We are currently accepting applications for a General Construction Labourer. The ideal candidate will have at least 1 – 2 yrs experience and must be motivated, hardworking with high attention to detail and quality of workmanship. This position will primarily be responsible for material deliveries using a company vehicle, debris pick up and disposal, warehouse organization, tool/equipment tracking. Other Duties will include and not limited to: - Work in areas of residential and commercial renovation, help in rough framing, structural framing, trim work, decks, fences, hanging drywall, installing windows & doors, flooring, etc. - Using various tools and equipment used in the construction trades - Must have safety shoes and a willingness to learn - Help measure, cut, shape, assemble and join materials made of wood, wood substitutes, lightweight steel and other materials - Work at heights, noisy, dusty atmospheres - Able to handle heavy loads, physically demanding, combination of sitting, standing, walking, bending, crouching and kneeling. - Must be accurate, team player, reliable, trustworthy and punctual - Must be able to take instructions easily with the ability to communicate well and who also works well independently - Must be insurable, drivers’ abstract needs to be provided - Provide Criminal record check - Provide valid driver’s license, must have own vehicle - Employer is willing to train and certify when needed We thank all those who apply, however only those who meet the above requirements will be contacted for an interview.
