Bartender/Server (Aurora)

Overview We are seeking a friendly and professional Bartender to join our vibrant hospitality team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for delivering exceptional customer service, a strong knowledge of food and beverage preparation, and experience in a fast-paced restaurant environment. Duties - Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages accurately and efficiently using POS systems such as Micros POS. - Greet guests warmly, take drink orders, and provide recommendations to enhance their experience. - Ensure all beverages are prepared according to standard recipes and presentation guidelines. - Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including glassware, utensils, and supplies. - Handle cash transactions accurately through cashiering systems, including cash handling and basic math calculations. - Monitor guest consumption to promote responsible drinking and adhere to food safety standards. - Restock bar supplies as needed and assist with opening or closing procedures. - Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth service flow during busy periods. - Uphold food safety regulations and maintain a clean, safe environment in compliance with health standards. Experience - Previous restaurant or food industry experience preferred, especially in bartending or serving roles. - Familiarity with POS systems such as Micros POS or similar platforms. - Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage guests professionally and courteously. - Knowledge of food safety practices and proper food handling procedures. - Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently during busy shifts. - Basic math skills for cash handling and order calculations. - Experience in hospitality or food service environments is highly desirable.
